My son is 11 years old and in a 22.5 boot. So he's finally able to get into a pair of Full Tilt's, which he's been wanting for forever! The selection of kids freestyle/park ski boots has been slim for him over the last few years, so he's pumped to get into the Full Tilts.
He's a decent little skier. Can throw 7's and hit most any rail. But he's a little dude. Like 75 lbs. soaking wet. My worry in stepping up from the junior model boots to a men's model is that they'll be crazy stiff for him?? So my question is... does the Full Tilt Drop Kick have progressive flex ratings through the boots sizes (i.e. would a size 22.5 have the same flex as a size 30)? I've looked on the Full Tilt website and the Drop Kick just says "Flex Rating 6". He saved him Xmas money up for these boots and I want him to get what he wants, but I also want him to have a boot that flexes and performs correctly for him. And no shop around carries the 22.5 Dropkick, so he can't try it on to flex in it.
PS - He's obsessed with New Schoolers and thinks everyone on here is the coolest. Haha, he's the one that told me about you guys!
