The other majority of people who attempt to wash their hands I've noticed do a shit poor job of it by either not scrubbing long enough, grabbing the sink handles with their clean hands, grabbing the bathroom door handle to leave, or not even using soap at all (sorry a 3 second rinse with water is only wasting it).
Rather than grabbing the sink handles to turn the water off, use a paper towel or your elbows. When you leave the restroom, if it's a pull door, use a paper towel to open the door (cuz good chance there's shit on the handle).
Other things you may or may not think about are food menus and cellphones. Clean your phone every once in a while; chances are there's some poop on it.
Before you get on my case about spreading this germophobic propoganda, 1) stop you're wrong 2) I'm just trying to help y'all out. The better your hand hygiene, the less often you will get sick, and the more days you can spend on the mountain rather than shitting your brains out or stuck in bed with a cold.
