roharaHey man. So the major differences between our Prodigy 1.0 and CT 1.0 are kindof in that the CT is old school and the Prodigy is new school. What I mean by that is the CT 1 has a much longer camber profile along the majority of the ski with a touch of rocker at tip and tail, symettrical shape, stiffer flex and its a full sidecut shape like a classic park ski. All of that makes it a more stable ski for groomers or for helping out on landings etc. The Prodigy 1.0 has a softer flex in the tip and tail as well as a significant rocker, so this will be the 'jibbier' option. it's easier to flex into the tip and tail for butters, presses etc, and because it's lighter and has a slight taper that lowers swingweight it'll feel a little quicker for taps and stuff like that. Basically if you want max 'jibbiness' go prodigy, if you want a more classic feeling park ski that feels stable for going bigger, hit up the CT 1.0.
As for the TW Pro i'e never skied it but flexed and mounted a few pairs in the past, and I would imagine it'll be more similar to the Prodigy. it feels noticeably soft in the tip and tail, and you can see the rockered/tapered tip and tail shape too, although not as much as in the Prodigy 1.0.
Hope that's helpful!
KappuhHThanks, very helpful!
How would you compare the Prodigy and CT 1.0 on high speed on groomers? Based on the flex I would say the CT is more stable but based on the shape I would say the Prodigy looks more like a piste ski.[/QUOTE
No worries man. That would be the CT for sure. Stiffer flex, combined with a longer camber area and more traditional full length sidecut shape all translate to lots of edge hold and stability. CT is a slightly more premium construction as well, with carbon under the binding area to dampen it a bit, which is good for railing groomers really fast as well.
