

Anyone seen anything like this before? I can feel it and it feels fuzzy. What do???

Greg_KNot to worry, you’re bases aren’t self destructing. You sometimes get fuzzy areas like that after base grinds which they would have done at the factory to flatten and structure the base. Can sometimes show itself after some of the wax is skied off.
Skiing on them will eventually smooth it but you should be waxing again anyway before that. Just run a stiff brass brush over the ski before you wax/get it waxed again. This will remove and smooth off the fuzz. Point it out to the shop if you don’t do your own waxing.
The important issue is how do you like the skis??? Great skis.
