I personally would want to be a part of a doom metal band, live in a van with them, go and play gigs at ski resorts all around the world and also be able to ski like a pro. I mean that shit would be so fun.

I want to take it to South America, and also Australia/New Zealand.

I'm old so I don't really have ambitions of pushing my skiing super far from where I am now, a little bit better, bigger, faster, etc. and continuing into old age.

About 6 or so years ago, when I was around 17. I suddenly decided that skiing (mainly Park) was basically my future. Like I'd sit at home and watch solid edits and just dream of being able to ski like that. It sort of happened overnight.

However as with all sports I've always been my own biggest critic, so over the last few years I've kicked myself about not getting (anywhere close) to the level id have dreamed of. Basically, Im a strong skier (I'm now an instructor) yet I still completely suck at Park. The thing is, life just got kinda in the way. Being situated in the UK obviously made things difficult and injuries also held progress.

So this year I finally scored a work permit and moved to Panorama, Canada in June to work as a bike park lift attendant for the summer and ski Instructor in the winter. Id done a fair bit of downhill biking before in Europe, so I decided to improve my skills by doing a summer season.

I had such an absolute blast this summer (until I fucked my wrist up but that's another story). After just a few weeks of riding my skills had absolutely sky-rocketed and I even set a decent time in the BC Nationals Cup (ametuer division of course). I've made some awesome friends and generally just loved life out there. I slowly started to think that maybe biking is becoming my new passion in life.

So my summer season here left a huge and lasting effect on me. I can now happily say skiing isn't the most important thing in the world to me anymore. This has taken a huge weight off my shoulders and I can fully accept that I'll never get to the stage I first wanted to be, so now I can just enjoy what I love about the sport. I'm sure I'm gonna have a kickass season in Panorama but to be honest I'm already looking forward to summer, rather than worrying about skiing!

I'm still gonna continue to send it though.

Henrik said it really well in The Regiment, skiing can teach you so many great lessons about life. I guess I'm trying to make sure I'm always learning something new while I ski no matter what age. I put a lot of value in learning something new every day, if I can do that in skiing then I can do it in my career and relationships and that's an ill way to live. There's definitely more to life than skiing, but skiing and especially park skiing keeps me so curious I never could see myself without it as my guide.

I'm 22. Pretty soon, my body will not be as durable as it used to be. I started skiing seriously 3 years ago. This season I've set my goals at 360, backflip and frontflip. I think my eventual goal is to be able to cork 7. That would be cool. However, I'd be interested to know how many skiers can cork 7 who never had a major ACL injury since I dont want that

I'm 20! Just started skiing this season pretty much (all though I had a couple of lessons as a kid)

I want to progress enough to start making edits, in the style of lsm and the bunch. However not new wave style. Because I enjoy working on projects like this.

And kind of related but skiing is an awesome way to meet friends and travel. I'm in Canada atm, going back to nz for the season. Then hopefully working the season in Japan!!

You should have eight to ten years left before your body begins to fail you, and at the begining it starts slow, injuries take longer to fully recover, you get sore more easily after doing things you haven't in a while.

If you want it enough though you'll put in the effort with mobility, fitness, nutrition etc. To help combat aging. Look at thall for example

Just to contue to get better and better and attempt new, more intense lines. Improve my fundamentals.

Nothing to do in Ohio, so bought a season pass and gonna try attempting park to pass the time. Would be nice to learn some basic tricks: backflip, front flip, 360, butters, etc and be able to take those back to the rest of the mountain when I go skiing at actual mountains. Would be really cool to add some style to my skiing, other than just straight airing everything. Oh and get really good at moguls cuz fuck moguls.

When I was a kid I always looked at pro skiiers on YouTube. I thought they where the greatest athletes ever. But I got kicked out of home when I was young, so never had money to go skiing (asides from a few lessons as a kid)

So this year I was fortunate enough to have a sick job. So far I have done 10 days at ruapehue nz. And now I'm at revelstoke. I feel like I'm getting pretty good.

And yeah for sure! The next few years are going to be so sick. Looking forward to progressing and really pushing it while meeting some sick peeps

No, I only started taking that stuff recently (I'm 20) but I am now drug free (not too moral high horse) besides the odd red bull.

going to be 32 in about to weeks so pretty much keeping healthy and getting as much snow time in as possible, and relearn some tricks.

when i was up 2 weeks ago i relearned switch 3's and a few other basic things and got more comfortable on rails. i stopped drinking and not being drunk really does help especially when you are not dialed in with things like when you are skiing all the time.

definitely going to drop some lsd next time im up after the holidays, maybe candyflip, those are always special times and probably about as happy as ill ever get.

Long term skiing I just want to be able to get a job where I can still ski as often as possible. Right now I switched to tele skiing and ive started doing it in park this year. Im trying to work on getting simple tricks and just get them really steezy. I feel like skiing is going in a weird direction where the most sswaps or spins you do the better the trickk but for me id rather just see a 2 pretz 2 . Right now im trying to get more creative and keep it simple.

I just want to ski man. getting better and learning is always a good feeling but as long as I'm riding it's a good day
I get a full 7 month season now and try to only take off 1-2 days a month. skiing every day on big mountains was my life goal from age 12 and as far as I'm concerned I've made it.

I'm 26 now so really I just want to be able to throw 720 variants of mostly everything. Rodeo 7, sw rodeo 7, cork 7, etc.



Maybe 9's if I'm ballsy. But if I can get to the level that I can throw that kind of stuff comfortably on any jump I'll be content.

Pretty happy with where my rail game is now. Would like to get both 450 out on lock as I'm still not super consistent with those.

I'm not sure how far I can take it at my age but I'm happy for small improvements and the experiences that occur everyday. I have some goals for this season but at my current progression rate they might not happen. Dont get Old.
Mystery, I know how that feels at mid 30s I'm starting that slow decline where you dont recover from things as quick as you used to . I want to make a trip to Windells I bet that would be an epic experience.

I want to be skiing as long as I live, wherever I am. I'm 29 and I feel like I still progress a little every day, as much as I ever did. I'm still learning new park tricks and variations, developing all mountain skills and upping the difficulty on lines and cliffs. I would like to do more backcountry skiing, more multi-day trips. I want to ski at small, local hills the world over. I want to take it to NZ, South America, the Alps, the Pyrenees, Japan, The Canadian North, the Chic Chocs and Eastern Europe. I want to take it back to Finland and California. I've been an instructor for years and I'd like to do more freestyle coaching too.
