Am i the only one here who really likes seeing skis from 2-5 years ago in ski movies?
idunno why its just cool to see some old factions, or on3ps with orange bases.

Yeah there's something about older skis man. I think it's nostalgia. I'd love to somehow fix my 09' Line Invaders just for the nostalgia reason. I just remember being young and having fun on them and even though have no idea/memory of how they ski, I'd love to ride them again. The edge of the ski was completely ripped out around the tip
(the whole U shape of the ski) though so that's not happening lol.

Found an old pair of currupts in the shop I work in as we re fitted it this year. They were behind a load of old shelving in the basement. Almost like new. Sucks they are really small but bought back some good memories!

Got some '10 Line Anthem this year for 80 bucks and they've been holding up great so far. I like old Line skis, they remind me of the early Traveling Circus, which had a big influence on me

Not as hard as you think, I'm about to do that repair on a second pair of skis. What I do is I clip the edges, file them down and then I epoxy the base back to the tail, let it dry for a day or 2. Then what I usually do is drill a few holes through them and slap some rivets in. I did this to a pair of halos and I skied them for half a season with no problems, probably could have lasted me much longer but I picked up new skis

I see so many of the ON3P filthy riches with the money topsheet. Even tho I’ve never ridden them that’s the one ski I wish I could have and keep forever and use a lot. Those things look so sick and fun. Also like seeing previous years of the Vishnu topsheets

I’ve still got a pair of 2005 scratch BCs in the quiver, along with some 2012 LTEs. I had a sick pair of old T-Halls (the all charcoal ones with just one thin Rasta stripe tip to tail, maybe like 2009s) but like an idiot sold them to a buddy. They were probably the last pair on earth...

The old ski that I see pop up the most is the OG Al Dente (before if became the Edollo). This ski is from the 13/14 season and still see them fairly often. It blows my mind because I barely see models from the 2-3 years after that. Also has a the OG Armada graphic

Tc episodes with the dragon chronics and b&e clips with the spray paint Al dente graphics give me major nostalgia as those are the years I started two planking
