Headsup I'm not an official shredsauce employee I'm just making this thread so hopefully the god of shredsauce, Malcolm, sees it.

I'll start...
- For the game to be downloadable on the computer so you can play anywhere on the go without internet
- A faster loading screen

It would be cool if you can speed up and slow down rotations due to the grab. For example, if you have a grab with the arms pulled in, the dude spins crazy fast like in real life and then you can open up and spin nice and slowly. In physics terms: conservation of angular momentum

Downloadable version
There is a downloadable version but it's not the most recent build. I've got a paid version planned, just need to fix up the UI and local storage stuff.

A faster loading screen
Speeding up load times and making the game less glitchy are priorities and also what keep me up at night.

Spectate mode for mobile
There is a spectate mode for mobile, it's just a really tiny button that's really hard to press. From the chat menu, hit the little people icon in the top-left corner. The whole chat UI needs to be redone for mobile.

Fatter skis
I've got plans for different sized skis. They may not work super well with all grabs so I'd like to figure out a way around that first.

Vests/layers as a separate item
When I had started working on character customization, I had planned for multiple layers. But I couldn't find a good way to avoid clipping (when parts of an object intersect with others).

Hoods
I had planned for hoods a while ago but never got around to adding them in. I wanted to have a sort of option for it. Here's what the model looks like:

There's still the issue with clipping if you're wearing a helmet.

Replay
I would love replay. It would probably only work on the downloadable version and maybe mobile though. I'm working on some different camera options for people to use for edits.

In multiplayer how do you board?
The snowboard release was a little rushed so a lot of the code is throwaway garbage. Which is why you can snowboard in multiplayer. It's also the reason why a lot of people can't switch back to skiing. (that will be fixed in the next update)


ETA on the paid version? And pricing? Not really bothered by the fact considering I and many others play religiously, just reallllly want to switch up my fit and lay down some backslides in a smooooth downloadable fashion

Still sometimes get the glitch where when you do a grab on a rail like a backslide, you will suddenly stop at the end of the rail and not keep your speed coming off, happens more on mobile than PC though

You need to hold down the jump button while doing the grab.

Shobo is right that you need to hold down the crouch button. But I don't think it should be that way and have added a note to fix it.

idk if I'm the only one to experience this but when I try to grabs on rails sometimes at the end of the rail ill get stuck or slow down a bunch. if this could get fixed that be great!

Also I'd like to see hair in the game. Like if you have long hair, you have the option og having hair stick out of your hat or something. That would be sick

It would be cool if you were able to use keybinds, i play other pc games and would rather use different keys, this just would help how customization works and allows new things that would be added

Whenever I set binds to my Xbox controller on the PC version the never save when I close the program on my pc. Also it would be awesome if you could make controllers compatible with the mobile version.

gotta say im really happy with the game in its current state and the potential for creating whatever you want with the grab creator is super enticing.

I agree with what was said earlier about spinning 90 and a shifty and landing In the direction of where your skis are facing. However the current grab system doesnt adjust the collision box of the player so im not sure to what extent that's plausible. While I would like to see manipulation of the collision in joint with the model, im not sure how that would change the game and it is probably going to cause a lot of problems.

My main gripe with the game has always been how rigid it looks.. there is little fluidity in the transitions between grabs and this lack of dynamic movement prevents slow, steezy backflips or 180s from looking really good.
My solution to this is when creating a grab, instead of creating a separate grab as its tweak, there is the option to create a grab with or without the tweak, like the options to make a grab a ground or rail trick.
By choosing this option one creates a base grab and then the tweaked version of the grab under the same name. Then, when the grab is used, there is a function (like a slider, for example) that is used to smoothly transition from the grab to the tweaked version of the grab.
In this way one can drag the slider as fast or as slow as they want, creating infinite variety as to how fast the tweak is or if the tweak is even complete.
The uses of this movement gradient are endless. One can shifty or layout much more slowly than with the set transition time. Two different grabs can be fluidly strung together. You can make smoother butters, handplants, nose/tail taps... whatever you can think of.

I know that was a wall of text, but maybe it is worth considering ;)

a few things ive noticed in the new editor, which is why i stayed away from it for awhile, mainly for time saving sake.
first, i would think that would be nice are hinge point for mainly primitives, for building a baseline would make it easier and save a lot of time, along with less underlying primitive snow cubes.
Secondly, maybe a skew point for rails, and primitives making it easier to make rainbow and c rails, along with lip crests.
thirdly, maybe an asset saver, say if you want to create a consistent rail fleet, and want to make a logo or something, you wont have to move every piece and can just move the art work or whole rail.

You should do this, and then make a library with all the features that everyone makes, so that we can share cool features. Also you should add more features to the level editor, as well as a painter thing, so you dont have to color stuff with concrete blocks.

Just wondering, when creating a map how do you make an even slope going down, all I can do is make uneven slopes or just have flat ground. I want to make a slope going down from where my mouse is

oh also something that would be nice, is a kind of measurement or scale option for the park editor, i have a big issue with the spacial analysis in general and i cant always get the correct sizing. ever since the resizing option and will often make rails silly small or put features to far apart.

so a true cork in shredsauce can only be cork 3, dub cork 7, trip cork 10 ect. In SNOW there is a feture where depending how long you hold an axis key determines how much spin on that axis. this would be an aweome feture as it would make it more relistic so your not like light hit H and spin 7 and hit G to get back.

iOS now supports controllers which is a nice addition, but Shredsauce needs an update for it. When I connect an Xbox one controller, there isn’t a boost button, the grabs do not work, and the game thinks you’re doing a Lincoln all the time (doing a normal spin becomes corked since Lincoln is activated). I hope they fix this issue since not everyone has a pc to run this great game.

cylinders & spheres for making rails, so map creators dont have to make those ugly cylinders from rectangular prisms. its really hard to lock on to the top of one instead of the side
