Soluble Fiber is Awesome!

I've always eaten a good amount of fiber but never taken soluble fiber aka Metamucil before. This stuff is great. My poops are so wonderfully formed and I barely have to wipe. I used to be an expert at making poop lasagna but not anymore! I'm so stoked I'd post a picture of my turds to prove it but I don't want to get banned. Yay for poop!

Wow, this is random but I’m actually going to buy Metamucil today. I used to take quite a bit of it regularly, and it was amazing. The only reason I stopped it was bcuz I went abroad for a while and they didn’t have it there. That stuff is literally the shit! U don’t even have to wipe!

So I did a little reading and it says Metamucil can be habit forming and some people have a dependency. Seems like it'd be super embarrassing to be addicted to Metamucil. Looks like Soluble Fiber is the shit but I'm going to try to get more of it from plants that I actually like to eat.

What you probably read was "laxatives can be habit forming". Technically psyllium (Metamucil) is a bulk forming laxative, but not even in the same league as stimulating laxatives and totally different outcome too. I highly doubt anyone could be addicted to Metamucil; miralax no doubt could be habit forming for people with eating disorders or when people stop taking it. Metamucil is totally safe to take everyday for your lifetime and since most people are mega deficient in fiber, this is a good easy way to supplement that.

Although fiber from diet is the optimal way to go as you mentioned.

dude ya it is addictive because u honestly do not have to wipe ur ass a hundred times and do thru a whole roll of toilet paper after each shit. look at ur shit now, then take metamucil for a few days and look at ur shit then. seriously, ppl who dont take this stuff are nasty af and have dirty ass buttholes.

No joke, I look forward to pooping at taking Metamucil. It cleans you right out nice and good. I poop like 3 to 5 times a day when I take it. It is good stuff.

I buy Metamucil brand soulable fiber supplement in bulk and take it everyday now and I have no regrets. So happy NS got me into learning more about dietary fiber

Just looked up metamucil and says it's got psyllium husk. I bought psyllium husk powder a while ago to thicken soup and it turns soup into a solid hunk of snot that won't stay on a spoon. I could see how that stuff could move things thru.

just be sure to take it with enough water if you take pills of psyllium

This thread is making me sad cuz it made my poops so nice. I've got an intestinal sticture so I haven't been able to take fiber for about a year now cuz risk obstruction -->perforation. :(
