famzii00Hey, anyone know how the Edollos hold up at higher speeds in comparison to the arv 96 and how the two compare in this respect. Bit confused about the difference in their stability as the Edollo has more flex but also has a race base.
I have 2020 Edollos (180cm) this year (mounted at -1cm from tc) these skis are super fun and playful however and high speed they do tend to get a little squirrelly. At first, the full camber tail with the softer, early rise nose made the ski feel awkward to really lean forward and drive the ski. As long as you keep them on edge at speed they do fine and now that I've gotten use to them i really enjoy them.
I have yet to ski arv 96s so i do not know how they compare. I would assume that the noses are a little stiffer and more stable. ARVs are advertised as all mountain/park skis while edollos are just park. I have skied Arv 106 ti and those where very damp and stable, speed was not an issue. If you want the more stable of the 2 i would put my money on the arvs. However if you spend a decent amount of time in the park and or have a surfy/jibby style the edollos are the perfect balance of stability and flex.
