Road conditions in the UP to mt Bohemia in January

I want to get out to Mt Bohemia this winter. I want to take my truck with a 25' toy hauler pull behind. Are the roads through the UP from the mitten passable for that? The truck will make it but will the trailer? Would I be better just leaving the trailer/sleds at home and getting a hotel or cabin?

Roads will be fine. Obviously depends on current conditions though. Id recommend flying. Under an hour in a half from Oakland international. "PTK"

Hey man, roads should be fine, our road commission is pretty killer and keeps things clear. Cabin at Boho is definitely the way to go. They have a deal where if you stay Wednesday night, you get Tuesday or Thursday night free. Includes 2 meals a day. Boho has an extra lot for your sleds or trailer, and there are lot of trails coming right out of boho. My buds and I move our sled trailers around Houghton and the Keweenaw all the time during the winter without issue. Let me know if you've got any question about the area. Always excited to get people up in one of the raddest places in the u.s.

Not about roads, but what about free camping near boho? Is the parking lot a safe bet or a no go for car camping?

They don't like car camping. Walmart is only an hour away, or their lodging is cheap

Ok actual local here. Roads will be fine if your car is decent. Don’t camp they don’t like it and there’s not enough space just lodge somewhere. Fly into CMX idk who is saying PTK but that’s ridiculous.
