Replying to How to not get bummed out as a senior in hs

fries:
Anyone have advice on how to make it through senior year without losing motivation? I’ve already applied to colleges (most likely going to MSU) and I get out of school 2 hours earlier than normal this year. I used to fill my time with extracurriculars but I don’t enjoy those as much as I used to, and there’s nothing going on right now.

On an average day I’m home by 1:00 and have the rest of the day to do absolutely nothing. I’ve been lifeguarding for 3 years now and I wasn’t able to get the winter instructing job since I won’t be 18 in time. Ive also been rock climbing a lot but friends are rarely available and it gets boring if I overdo It. I’ve just been more lazy, grouchy, and unmotivated as ever.

TLDR: OP is bored af with senior year and feels like there’s no point in life anymore.
