Völkl Revolt mounting point HELP

Never trust the factory lines as they can vary. You just learned that valuable lesson and good thing you didn’t have them mounted there as they would ski funny there especially if the other ski is different.
Measure both skis with a tape measure tip to tail(should be about 2cm less than 173 if it’s a volkl as they measure before pressing) and then divide by 2 to find center. The recommended point on those skis is 2cm back(towards tail) from center which would be perfect for your use.

Be sure to check both skis as the other one might be different.

Thanks for fast answer. Both skis are the same and measure 173cm as they are now. Maybe völkl changed how they measure or factory error? And to be clear. 2cm back from true center, make line, boot center line aligned with that?

Yes, I usually put a wide piece of tape in the center area and mark exact center and then measure 2cm back from that. Mark “ski center” on the center and “boot center” on the 2cm back mark so there is no confusion with the person mounting the bindings.

I had that year revolt in the 181 and the line was off on mine as well.

had mine mounted -3cm from center, skied a good mix of park and all mountain, even some pow when I was too lazy to switch skis and it was under 8 inches of fresh. Definitely a great ski, really fun. Would recommend -2 if your skiing more park on them.
