That was rather serious, and I think people should do whatever makes them happy. I found this picture particularly interesting because snowbird posted it and they're in Utah, hopefully it keeps some old anti-gay mormons off their slopes this winter.

yeah utah is not the most friendly place... when i applied for a job at snowbird they basically said i had to look like a hitler youth to work there... hopefully its just their customers that are assholes, not them!

Meh it's just social norms and what people are used to seeing. Honestly kinda whack with all the in your face hetero stuff out there. Movies, pda etc. I get that it's the vast majority but still.
Also brings up the topic of "nobody cares if you're gay, why are people even talking about it" then it's this situation on the regular. I truly hope it gets to the point where nobody gives a fuck other than, "hey, get the fuck out of here and go get a room you two" regarding any couple dry humping in the streets.

Also if you feed somebody the angle that it's something they should be pissed about, enough people will absorb it over time.

Honestly, I don’t think much of it. But I’m just used to it I guess? I know it’s still not universally accepted but it’s much more widely accepted I guess you could say?
I will say, when the idea is presented negatively I feel defensive, and I can’t say that would have been true several years ago. So I’ve definitely become a supporter and defender of it. But I wouldn’t say I’m a 100% full time, in your face promoter. I would, however, buy a rainbow accessory and make sure to wear it proudly around my uber-conservative family.
