Super different. Confession is far more damp, directional, stable, and way less playful. Anima is much more of a playful ski, much looser, significantly softer flex pattern (specifically in the tails), way more tip and tail rocker.
If you like to spin, ski switch, slash, or ski in a playful manner, the Anima is a better option.
The Confession is best for directional skiers who value stability at speed, a damp feel, and don't care as much about being able to easily release the ski out of a turn, spin, ski switch, etc.
