Ski instructor drug testing

Does anyone know if mammoth will drug test for a ski instructor job? I feel like everyone there smokes but I’m worried they may drug test in the beginning during orientation or something. I’d understand if someone was involved in an accident at work and they were tested then. Let me know if anyone has any similar experiences!

Been a liftie and and instructor and never heard of anybody getting tested. At Targhee, as long as it didn't interfere with your job, nobody gave a shit. Seriously, who thinks they can stop professional dirtbags from smoking.

Had a roommate who had dreads, he showed up late and stoned to every shift of instructing. He always got the youngest kids, with no experience, always at the magic carpet. Had another friend teaching at the same place, he just smoked after his lessons, showed up on time and didn't act like a total burnout... he got intermediate/advanced lessons and actually got to ski while he taught.

food for thought. Just because you smoke doesn't mean you have to be a stoner.

A couple years ago I actually met two lifties on the top of the Nipple getting high and sharing. Didn’t look like they gave a fuck :)

Buddy of mine got caught blazin in the lift shack, and was just told to go smoke where the guests couldn't see

Yup. Last year I rode through the lift line, beer in hand past my boss, on gaperday, at 18. 0 fucks were given by anyone.

I dunno about the ski school specifically, but I know a lot of Mammoth employees who, at any given hour, were generally high as a kite.

Probably 90 percent of the instructors I worked with when I used to teach either smoked, drank, or both. You’re buggin.

Lol 4 year old thread nice bump.

Two years ago, the lifty working Dakota at big sky got way too stoned and didn't notice an oil leak. The entire thing broke down for the rest of the season. Heard they are just going to replace it now.
