Replacing Atomic Infamous

Hi all!

I'm looking for some advice on what ski would be similar to the 16/17 Atomic Infamous. My pair broke and the ski has been discontinued in the meantime. I really loved the overall feel of it though, it was so playful and soft. I've found a good deal on the Punx 7, do you think it would be similar in character? I know the older Punx were stiffer but not sure how things changed once the Infamous was discontinued and replaced by Punx 5 (too short for me) and 7. I'm 191 cm, 85 kg, advanced overall but beginner in the park, looking at 60/30/10 slope/park/off-piste. Thanks for any input!

Look into Armada ARV 96 if you've got the break width, or Line Chronics if you'd be open to them, I wish I had either of those when I started, great standard park/all around skis and a little softer than the Infamous. I was on the Infamous for a few years but switched to ON3P Magnus' which are very playful but lots rocker (personal preference)

lol @ opening a thread about atomic infamous and the second sentence is about how they broke, I wonder why they were discontinued?!??

Hey, thanks for the reply! Sadly it seems I could only get the ARV 96 easily where I live and they are twice as pricey as the Infamous were, so a bit out of my budget :/ Now I see I forgot to mention that in the original post..looking ideally in the EUR 300 range (the ARV 96 I found for EUR 480). I can get last year's Punx 7 for 240 so that's why I mentioned them as a possible alternative.

And yeah, the Infamous were really poorly made - they did ski well while they lasted though lol

They weren't discontinued, just renamed the punx 5. haha Still the same shitty durability though.
