VinnieFRye Olaf, this badass standing over the corpses of his enemies, is the first documented person to hit jumps on skis in the early 19th century. True story.
Looked up his wikipedia
'Reportedly launched himself 9.5 meters in the air'
mattm7Not to mention all the sped up lift footage.
jensen^my only request to give credit for the work i did to create that last if you use it/alter it/share it. I did spend a lot of time gathering all of that info at one point. just don't want it to see it go to waste since i really wanted to see if finished with links, etc.
SPK_Year 0: (or 1982 in that dumb gregorian calendar) Birth of our Lord and savior Candide Thovex in the holy town of Annecy.
18: Arrival of the messiah to the town of Alta, in search of the holy Gap. After founding it, it is said that this is when he received his godly powers and made his first miracle, a glorious 120 feet 720 D-Spin.
19-24: Prophet of his discipline, Candide arouse admiration among all humans.
25 Candide is too powerful. Skiing loses its balance, and God himself is set to neutralise him. Candide will be severly punished after the ultimatest send.
26: Resurrection of Candide.
27-36: Disappointed after trying to help humans make their skiing great again, but defeated by the bunch, Candide exiled himself to only make a few appearances a year, always under the idolization of his believers.
This is the only history you'll need son.
LivingDaLifeExcept he first hit the gap at 16 (did a three), and did the d-spin at 17.
BigPurpleSkiSuitPretty sure he only did a straight air that first time
