Sore Heel

The back of my ankle up from my heel is quite swollen, red and sore. This is from skiing a lot over the past week. Has anyone had this problem before and if so how do you treat it? Cheers

Sounds like your ski boots are not properly fitted

this happened to me, make sure you ice them take advil and give them a little break. Don't want to hurt anything

Yeah take it easy. Don't want to develop bone spurs like me. Ibubrofin and ice an maybe think of talking to a bootfitter

it could be that you have too much forward lean in your boots and its stretching your achilles tendon.

I had wicked plantar fasciitis when I was 15. feet, mostly heels were so fucked I could barely walk. Got some new insoles and that helped but I think I couldn't play soccer for a couple weeks. Old people were passing me in walmart. It was fucked.

I have to wear good footwear now or my feet go to shit quickly.
