What is the best warm up routine for freestyle skiing

Hey there,

Does anyone know of a warm-up routine to make sure you don't get any injuries and feel the best you can before hitting the park?

before skiing I always do this warmup:
move your neck round in circles
shrug your shoulders
circle your arms
move your hips round in circles
then do leg kicks

Only takes 2 minutes and can prevent injuries in your shoulders and having a sore neck.

Before skiing I usually do my old soccer warmup, foam roll legs and back, then do plenty of leg stretches, then crack my back and tweak nose grabs on the lift to stretch again a little. Usually never pull anything unless it's a bigger crash.

leg/back stretches before you put your boots on, and i do little circles with my knees both ways to get them moving. definitely helps especially on an early day when i havent been awake for long and the only thing my legs have done is push car pedals. drink water and get to the lift

I just grab the tip of my ski on the lift if I am feeling a bit tight. My hamstrings/lower legs are usually the tightest so this always feels really good.

Nose manuals and nollies and 180s on the way to the lift line, good stretching, also let's you check your bindings.

I like TRVP_ANGEL's warm up routine

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing fat dabs of that loud. I can smoke 10gs now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my pre-ski routine.

This season I was doing 2 to 3 runs outside the park, just carving around the resort. After that once I get to the top of the park I would click off my skis and move the majority of my joints. I would start from the knees, then the hips, after that I would move to my back, then to my shoulders, arms, and wrists. Finally, I would move my head in circles and prepare my neck, this is also a very good part to breathe and meditate for a few seconds before going in.
