A little background: Waaaay back in the day, I started on ~63cm Kneissl skiboards, then klimax skiboards, and finally ended up on ~85cm dynastar twins with canon bindings. I still have them, however after what feels like a 15 year coma (kids), I'm venturing into twin tips. Kids are loving the skiboards, but I'm ready to go longer.
I've grabbed a couple pairs of new 170cm armada arv & head skis to mess around with next season, but am wondering if something in-between length like a 140cm (rossignol smash 90mm wide) would even be worth it, or a 125cm skiboard? The rossignol smash is actually an adult mens with bindings for an adult boot size (din11).
Riding style: Fast, carving and goofin' mostly on groomers, some moguls, jumps (hard to stick landings on 85cm!)
Priorities: price, portability (trunk only fits 130cm, otherwise I need a rack)
Weight: 190ish
Anyone else mess with shorter skis, skiboards, or kids skis?
