Lightweight jacket

after a new lightweight jacket (i.e. minimal insulating) for aussie season for most days when an actual jacket isn't needed. was honestly thinking like a carhartt or something along those lines. wondering if you guys have any decent recs though.

Carhartt, TNF and other big brands all have lightweight jackets. Or are you looking for core stuff?

What are conditions like on these days that you are thinking about? Carhartt is a brand that makes everything from t-shirts to technical winter jackets. Tell us what conditions are like and then we can share what we wear to be comfortable skiing for those conditions.

Govt. issue from surplus store. ECWCS. They are goretex and about $70 super heavy duty but no insulation and massive pit zips.
