Binding freedom/quiver killer does it better. No heavy plates and not farther off the ski. Plates are alright though

Also plates have been around for a long time....cool that it is toolless though i guess

They look sick but i also wonder how easy it would be to knock the binding free when they not on your feet. Imagine losing half your binding in deep powder

Interesting. The swappable binding thing has been done many times before, but this looks like the easiest version yet. As someone who has spent a lot of time unscrewing / screwing Quiver Killers, I'd be stoked if I could get the same result without tools.

Although I was really distracted the whole time because they kept putting Pivots on a 1400 g BD Helio 95, and have it shown with a bunch of touring gear...

Which also brings up an interesting difference between this and CAST (who's connection interface looks very similar), Quiver Killer, etc. — as far as I can tell, you wouldn't be able to put two different bindings on 1 set of skis since the plates are machined for 1 specific binding's mount pattern. Which I guess is fine, they're just going for cost effectiveness and easy travel, rather than being able to tour and ski resort on 1 ski with 2 different bindings.

It'll be interesting to see if they get funded. Best of luck to them.
