The snow will stick to your bases and you'll be super slow in the flats. Stay on edge as much as possible because it can really slow you down if you go bases flat

Skiing in the rain (for me) are the funnest days of the season. Especially at night. Super super fast, no people, just ski right on the lift (east coast at least). So so so fun to just throw some headphones in, bump some good tunes, and just shred the hell out of everything. That’s where I can truly enjoy myself.

I did my level 2 ski instructor exam in the torrential rain at Big White last year. Shit snow, couldn't see shit, Fucking horrible

Goretex/the most waterproof shit you own is a must. I also use clear safety glasses as to not wreck my goggles and it's not a problem to wipe freezing rain off the lenses with a glove while skiing. Also bring dry clothes to the mtn for after cause driving home soaking wet fucking sucks.

yeah, it can make the snow sticky but usually it's just fine. i'd def wax my skis up really nice beforehand tho

Go for it OP. Sometimes the snow can actually be really fast and super duper fun. Visibility can be a bummer and also getting wet is not as fun but the bonus is you can probably get a really good parking spot and just go back to the car to change your wet gear. Cary some extra rags to wipe your goggles at the top of the run.

Just make sure your absolutely pinning it when you come off a steep into a flat . So when you hit that big slushy puddle at the bottom you do a front flip

Skiing in the rain can be super fun if you come up with your homies and if you've got something that's super waterproof. It only kinda sucks if it's raining hard enough that you have to wipe off your gogs every 6.9 seconds.
