I just had a terrible time in some glades. The spring snow is lumpy, heavy, wet, and sticky. It's fine if I'm in an area with a lot of space to turn, but in the trees it's very difficult. I feel like I can only traverse back and forth through the trees and/or I have to really man-handle my skis and jump to get them into a tight turn, which is very very tiring.
Any tips here? I do the same trees just fine when they're soft powder or tracked-out hardpack.
