Summer skiing with a park but also public

So I'm going on a summer road trip around the US with my family. My parents said if there is a place where we can ski at in the they would bring us. Is there any place where a family can ski at in the summer that's decent?

timberline on mt hood, also here in virginia you can ski toothbrushes at snowflex
