So I recently just purchased my first pair of skis they are the völkl transfer 85. When I was skiing in some glades I managed to hit a rock and gashed my ski a little I did some research and I am aware that you are able to flatten them out and continue to ski without having to p Tex them. However I read that if at the edge they can be harmful to the ski if deep enough I wouldn’t say they are even 1mm deep but is this enough to have to take it to a ski shop? Or can I flatten them out and continue to ski? Or should I just p Tex myself?
