BondyWhat do people think of the Revolt 124?
Greg_KVolkl Transfer 85 is their cheaper made, entry level park ski. You’re far better off in the Transfer 89(old Kink), the Revolt 85 or Revolt 95. All twins with Camber/rocker, mid flex underfoot and softer tip/tails.
The Revolt 87(old Völkl Wall) is their stiffer, pure Camber park ski that has tons of pop, holds well on ice and is the model “as seen on tv” of most team riders.
The Revolt 87 or the wider, softer Revolt 95 are both fantastic skis.
Greg_KThe Revolt 124 is a renamed Volkl 2 and there are lots of reviews online on the Volkl 2. Very playful, smearing turns/buttering style of freestyle powder ski with it’s full rocker but it’s not a light ski.
Bash 116 is the new name for the Volkl One BTW.

BondyJEEZ forreal 2700 holy crap
The 2017/18 Bent Chetler is around 2100 grams per ski and is a fun, surfy ski like the Volkl Revolt 124 but at a nicer Goldilocks weight.

BondyWhat would you say is more chargy? do you think the extra weight is worth it?
Greg_KNeither ski really charges as both skis are more softer flexing/buttery type of powder skis.
If you want a playful charger type powder ski, look at the Moment Bibby, ON3P Kartel 116, Nordica 110 or the Blizzard Rustler 11.
Rum_HamHaven't heard good things about the rustler in variable snow.
Greg_KOnly Blister had a mediocre review on all conditions for the Rustler 10 yet every other magazine/website/reviewer or owners of the ski say how versatile and “playful with power” they are and I would agree. Many reviewers now own the Rustlers as they liked them so much. Don’t know if it was a tuning issue with the Blister skis or it just wasn’t their style of ski?
The other thing is they ski short, so always size up for added stability and once you do they charge very well through anything. Metal underfoot but none on the tip and tails to keep those playful.
They aren’t a Head Monster 108 in a 191cm charger ski but they are pretty good for free ride skis. Lol
BondyI rode them in whistler there decent I find I can go harder on my Kartel 108s. The rustler 10s are pretty easy to overpower if your a bigger guy tho
