Which 450 is easier
It is the last week of the season at my place and I haven’t even done a 450 but I think I can. I tried to blind 4 for 2 hours yesterday but never got spinning hard enough i guess. Is a front 4 easier to commit to / get around than blind 4? I also get my tip stuck a lot when I try to spin fast.
it depends on which was you spin and grind
i grind left foot forward and spin to the left, so front four will be easier for me because that is the direction that is natural
in general, blind 4’s could be harder to learn because you have to come out forward and then get another 180 around, making it much easier to float around but on a small rail, like you said easier to catch an edge. front 4s can feel more natural because it is much more like a 360, than a back 4 which kinda feels like a 540. also front 4s land forward which also makes it easier.
overall, try to find a rail at least one or two feet off the ground, something that will give you the time to set 270 a little bit harder and shuffle to 4 to get the feeling of it. just keep setting harder and harder. if you are having issues getting you tips from clipping the rail just go a little faster or pop off the rail more. don’t forget that you want to wait till the end of the rail to set hard. good luck man

I personally found it easier to blind 4. Didn't have to scissor the rail and since it was my natural rotation it was more comfortable for me.It's different for everyone so I would give front 4s a try and see how you feel. The big thing to remember is to make sure you pop off the rail. If you catch your tips or tails on the rail it's usually because you didn't pop enough.

prob depends on which way you slide and spin. but front 4 IMO, set it and forget it baby
Are you better at front 2s or blind 2s? Just do either one with a lil more speed or off a rail with a larger drop and you'll for sure rotate into a 4.
I got my first front 450s today, not pretty, but they were 450s. I didn’t get any on film cause i have some curse when a camera is on me.

The front 4 is easier to learn, but i think a blind 4 is easier when you already know how to do it. So learn the front 4 first
loshHell yeah bro, the more you do you'll start to feel more and more natural and you'll be getting them no problem in no time.
this was the last day of the season and of my park skiing career pretty much, no skiing in the picture for college unfortunately.
