Hi everyone, long time lurker on the biard but first time ever posting.
I'm on the market for a new pair of skid and I feel kind of lost regarding the huge amount of options available !
Been skiing for 20 or so years, used to ski a lot when I was younger but life and responsibilities have cut all that down to more or less a week every year now. Thanks to that I am a technically capable skier but with the lack of time spent on the mountain I don't enjoy charging around at mach 2 anymore.
I'm from France, ski mostly in the Pyrenees would say I do 50-50 groomers and off piste. Bear in mind that I don't do any crazy big mountain runs or super steep stuff. Size wise I'm 1m78 and weight 78kg in good physical shape.
As you've probably already understood I spend most of my time just cruising around on reds and some mellow off piste stuff messing around doig some small jumps, not any good in the park but would maybe like to try that out a bit.
The type of ski I think would fit would be something around 100mm waist, the isn't super demanding or doesn't need to be rode at the speed of light but still capable of holding out decently on the groomers. We don't have super deep powder around here so 100 should be enough. Budget wise I'm ok up to 700 without bindings.
Thanks for reading all this and the help !
