For me, the best way to get a sense of how the snow is at breck key copper etc, is to see images of the towns and frisco etc. anybody know good places to see images for what the area looks like, in order to get a sense of how much snow there is in the trees?

I hear what you're saying, but you're missing the elevation piece. Frisco is lower than even the base areas of those resorts. It's very typical for there to be minimal snow in town but with tons of snow on the mountain.

Hmm i dont think thats right. Whenever the breck key an copr have good snow theres also alot piled up in frisco. Frisco is still 9000 feet, which is high as fuck. I know the resorts drain the entirety of lake dillon to blow enough snow but im a fan of the trees so i want real snow

There's basically no snow down low. It's been 50+ degree multiple days, so all the snow melts except in some piles and north facing/shady areas. I don't ski outside of the park so don't know how the trees are but I expect they're pretty sketch right now unless they're north facing.

Why are you trying to go to Texas resorts of Colorado to ski pow and trees? Ya got much better options for that stuff...

"In a typical year, 47 percent of the Summit County precipitation that flows into the Blue River goes downstream for power generation, chiefly at the Shoshone plant in Glenwood Canyon; 20 percent ends up in reservoirs; 19 percent is pumped to other drainages for Front Range consumption; and 11 percent is used for irrigation. That leaves about 3 percent for local municipalities, snowmaking and development - and virtually nothing else."
