Headlamp for night skiing

Anyone know what the best headlamp for night shredding is? I'm looking for something that is bright, durable, and doesn't have too many bells and whistles like reactive lighting or whatever.

I have the Petzl Nao + and it is awesome.

Easy to use, fits on a helmet, and is fucking bright. My friend's headlamp died, and this was enough to light up the terrain in front of me and her.

It's on the more expensive side, but seeing is well worth it.

word, I was looking at that one but I really don't need a lot of the features it comes with. I'm guessing that it's pretty hard to find a good headlamp that doesn't come with a ton of extra features though...

Yeah like a lot of things, when you buy up, a lot of things/features tend to get added.

The nice thing is its easy to use and you don't waste time pfaffing around with it and it works really well.

I'll take your word for it, I don't think there's a single NS member I would trust more when it comes to gear

Biking headlamps are also worth a look. Mine is a magicshine from a few years back. I think it’s like 1000 lumens and there’s different battery options.
Bright as can be, simple too. But a quick look at new ones seem more complicated.
