Butter4dayzI was looking at the Oakley Flightdeck Prizm Iridium and the Anon MFI for my brother as a Christmas present. What is the best one out of the two?
sickskiI used to have both, I definitely like the Oakley's better just because of durability. I took a crash with my anon goggles on and the lens was pretty much destroyed.
HlblackmerIf your content with sticking to Oakley or Anon then I would go in and find a Oakley goggle that fits your face. From experience they seem like generally a higher quality product for what you pay then what you would get from Anon.
BrawnTrendsExcept that for the same price with Anon you get a second lens, a face mask and the magnets thing to swap lenses and attach the face mask, and a "under the helmet" special strap if you want to. Oakley's Prizm technologie is great, but their goggles are almost just as fragile as the Anons.
Plus you can find replacement lenses for Anon for much cheaper than Oakley. I absolutely don't regret the switch.
I do like SPY Optics too though. I also have the Ace from them and I think for the price its pretty great.
oxicleanWhy even make this thread if you're already decided?
HlblackmerGet the Smith chromapop I/o, I/ox, or i/o7 goggles (depending on which one fits your face better). They are the best goggles I have ever used and are worth the investment. Also you can find them in near perfect shape on eBay and even on NS for sometimes more then 50% off. I would go into a store and figure out which one you like more and then try to find them slightly used if you want to save some money.
