It's hitting Minnesota... Highest it's gotten today was 13 and supposed to get below 0 tonight. Hasn't been above 40 since like October 25th.

Polar Vortex is technically correct but it's definitely a loaded word. It makes it sound like extreme shit is going to happen but it's the same old thing that's been going on for years whenever a severe cold snap hits. The lake effect snow belts were absolutely pumping today though. Minnesota is still shitty though, just cold and dry per usual.
