Grabbing with spins and flips.

When your spinning your threes make sure not to grab to early and realease to late. Until you get the hang of it you will be spinning mostly when your hand is not on the ski. Gradually work up so your holding your grabs longer and longer an spinning fast with them. That will help you get the trick around better and will keep you on axis more.

Sounds like you're bringing your body to your skis. You should be bringing your skis to your body. Kinda hard to explain

For flips don't worry about grabbing them. People do different style flips. Some work better with grabs, some not. If you're laying it out a bunch it's probably easier just to not grab. You don't need to grab flips imo.

With the 3's how big are you going? How fluid is the spin? If you don't have much air, and or you're really trying to yank it around, it's tough to get a good grab.

3's are the last trick you can really do with that twirly bird style. Where you're just muscling it around. Try to spin more level. Get to a point where you throw the spin, and you'll keep spinning naturally rather than having to flop and wiggle to get it around.

Can you do 5s yet?

can't help that much, bubble explained it best. i barely do anything bigger than 540's with double rightskigrab. but just getting comfortable on the spin and the just go for it. you will probably fall at times, but that's the price 2 pay. can't really get better without falling

Helped me a lot, the instruction is grab at half way through whatever spin your throwing, but once you do some you will realise its more like go for the grab one you feel the rotation as been fully set. When grabs work for me my 3s feel super floaty and balanced in the air aka no arm waving.

I use to grab when I was about 180 in. Make sure you are sending it though, cause it looks bruce jenner if you only hold it for 0.5 seconds

As said earlier, make sure you don't grab too early. I had the same problem a few years ago when i was learning my spins and i would always go for the grab too early and it totally messes you up in the air. Don't stress it and you'll get it no problem

He's trying to say pull your knees up to your chest then grab, rather than keeping your legs straight and reaching down, because if you put reach down your heads gonna go down, and your body follows your head.
