RparrI have a really hard time justifying supporting my local ski shop when their prices are consistently hundreds of dollars more per ski/boot than elsewhere. But hey, I'm a slut for money I guess
TRVP_ANGELDon't feel sorry. The idea of supporting a local shop just because the bandwagon "fuck the big guys" is ridiculous. If they aren't able to offer additional value for the increased price then might as well just buy from large companies
RparrI even once went in to get fitted for boots, then walked out and bought them online after I figured out what size I needed. They cost 320 shipped online vs 550 in the shop. Those bastards still get like 65$ from me every time I need bindings swapped in/out anyways.
RparrI have 0 shame, it's the way capitalism works. I even once went in to get fitted for boots, then walked out and bought them online after I figured out what size I needed. They cost 320 shipped online vs 550 in the shop. Those bastards still get like 65$ from me every time I need bindings swapped in/out anyways.
versacelettuceOn the fence about this move. Sucks that the only real way to get fitted is by a shop helping you, but sucks that the shop will charge full retail.... Maybe there should be a industry standard of price matching?...

versacelettuceSucks that they cant competitively price their product or labor in a market place and add more entry barriers to the sport.
