HERE WE GO!

Back by popular demand, NS FFB league. $25 dollar buy in, same rules as last year. 12 man league, snake draft, half point (0.5) PPR. For payment we used PayPal, but this year I've gotten with the times and we can use Venmo too.

Google hangout for draft, last year it was pretty dead (or that was my other league), so this year lets try to get that shit lively again like it was a few years back. Below are the 12 who were in last season who have priority on the league, if all 12 are in, sorry no new people can get in. I will start up a wait-list, first come first serve for that. Post in the thread if you are interested about the wait-list.

In other news I feel like I've taken over for eheath as the team with the best record while not scoring any points. My team is hot garbage. Sad to say I don't see myself making it too far in the playoffs.

Your schedule was a cake walk. You had an opponent break 115pts twice. I've had opponents break 115pts 6 times. I've had opponents break 100pts 9 times. fucking fantasy football.

Hey man, I've gotten 140 the last two weeks with lots of pts on my bench, my team isnt lookin bad, my points for we're much worse 5-6 weeks ago, im at least starting to catch up haha

oh, for sure. I don't think your record is a farce. it's just insane to me how often teams are going off against me. I've lost games where I've put up 145.9 & 129.8, which should be mortal locks in normal weeks. Last night, I went into the 8:30 game up 31pts with Antonio Brown to go against me. I should have won that game.

I haven't had a team that was this good in a while. Like, I am consistently putting up scores in the 120s. But, I am getting absolutely hosed in matchups. If I can get into the playoffs, I have a pretty good shot at winning the championship all things considered.

I feel ya man, it happens to everyone, i have a league where the guy in 2nd has the least amount of points in the league, he's won like 3-4 weeks on last minute points/lack of points in monday night games, its insane. I lost to him because KC def got that fumble for a TD at 0:00 in the game against washington like 5 weeks ago, its life haha

this week, it was Burkhead that fucked me. Carrying Patriots RBs is a curse. If I had played Burkhead, I would have won handily.

Oh well. One more week to push for the playoffs. All I have to do is get in.

There should be a bad beat prize like they have in poker rooms. Hard to say what the FFL equivalent of that would be, maybe a hat or something.

I have a few friends in leagues that have a pretty high buy-in. They payout money to the #1 team & the highest scoring team at the end of the regular season. just saying! I'm outscoring the next closest team by like 80pts.

Whoa whoa...in all fairness I was projected to wipe the floor with you and my RBs shit the bed. You had some players turn out remarkably high scores which is what made it a contest. I did see your RB on the bench which totally sucks for you but it’s not like you didn’t have a great week.

well, you were projected to wipe the floor with me after Marvin Jones went for 26 and McKinnon went for 5. James White went for 2 (averages 8+) & Alex Smith went for 13.5 (avg 20+ before the Bye Week). Kamara's performance wasn't exactly uncharacteristic after 10 straight weeks in double digits and 20+ in 3 of the last 4, I think. I should have won that game up 31+ with your one player to go. That one player just happened to be AB (only broken 20 4 times in 11 weeks prior).

My real issue is that I am blowing everyone else out of the water in terms of pts scored and am .500, in danger of not making the playoffs. that is the nature of fantasy football, though.

He probably will since Alex Smith is finally Alex Smith again. What a fucking bum. And Jerrick McKinnon is allergic to the end zone all of a sudden. And my wide receivers have migraines, cracked ribs, torn meniscuses, and bellyaches. I am firing up the excuse machine real early this week to cover my own ass.

And to be fair, I've been the highest scoring team in the league for like five weeks now. I'm coming for that ass in the playoffs, bungholio. quote me next time, bitch! haha

Woah woah woah, counting out the #1 team in the league that’s 3rd (only by 1.5pts) in PF? Interesting tactic let’s see if it pays off. I think you have 70pts more than me.

And that shit happens man, I lost 140-147 this week in another league, wanna know why? AB. I’m 5-7 in that league and every team I’ve played has put up atleast 120pts, with three teams putting up 170+ on me. And my team is loaded. Sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw, that’s fantasy.

I know, I know... I'm just feeling extra curmudgeon-y this week and feel like talking a little shit. I haven't had much luck in Draft Kings this year, so winning a few units here would make my year. I have my eye on a pair of K2 Marksman and just booked a trip to Big Sky for February, so a little cash would be sweet.

I know. I'm still nervous about Ingram though. If he pulls up mid game Kamara is going to just destroy us. Also we could easily get beat by Burkhead, Packers and friggen Zuerlein. It's been amazing/annoying how high some kickers and defenses have been scoring this season. They have really decided some match ups.

It's a crapshoot. My players still have to play, though. Shepard, Anderson, Fuller, Clay, & Benjamin are all Questionable on top of Gronk & Ju-Ju suspended.

I've had just about every RB I drafted or picked up this year in another league get hurt this year. Picked up Burkhead out of pure necessity a few weeks back. Man has that paid off.
