Hi, I'm a bit new to this, this is my second season, I have been skiing in the park. The season's getting over and I'm a little frustrated about my progress, but I don't have anyone to compare with.
I only see them stylish newschoolers guys, and when I'm trying to find any older videos from them, it looks like everyone was stomping it from the beginning. For instance, I really like these creative north european guys like the bunch etc, which are often just playing with some simply-looking stuff, but when it comes to, they are able to pull off technically insane tricks, and it looks like they had got this huge skill level from the very beginning, because even in the videos from 2010, the're still smashing it...
So I would like to ask You, how did your skills looked like after 2 seasons of riding (trying to say, I need to hear, that I'm doing bullshit and I should be better, because that works usually well as motivation to me).
So, what I've learned after 2 years in the park:
Straight airs on medium jumps trying to tweak some grabs (safety, mute, tail, stalefish, truckdriver)
Weird 360s
180s with some simply grabs (safety/mute)
Switch 180s on smaller jumps
Frontflips
Weird nosebutter 360s
Sliding these slim street-looking rails
Frontside 270s
Weird backside switchups on fat tubes
Backslides when I've got enough speed
Lip-ons
And I'm ashamed to say, but that's all.
When I'm saying weird, it's like 0 style and 0 control.
I think I spent about 20 days in the park this season.
So what about You?
