Daymaker Adapters

So im looking into these daymakers that giray dadali has designed. just by looking at them and watching a few reviews they seem pretty solid. I was wondering if anyone has used them or the bca trekkers and had any insight to give me?! because im not sure if i got money for a full touring setup so the daymakers seem pretty sick

keep in mind this will be much more exhausting uphill than a dedicated touring set up, but the setup will be much more powerful on the downhill.

The BCA trekkers are terrible. Apparently the day makers (called this because trekkers are known as daywreckers) are awesome. Definitely not as good as touring bindings but theres less risk of wrecking bindings

I have daymakers and a friend who has trekkers and can say that daymakers are miles ahead of those.

Honestly, it really depends on what you are trying to do. If you are gonna do the occasional tour, then it is more than fine. It is also nice that I can use any skis I have as touring skis now, unlike my friends with frame bindings. You also get the best downhill capability and its much safer for sending it off stuff or doing tricks.

If you have the money you could buy them and then if you decide to get deeper in backcountry then buy a full setup and either keep the daymakers around or sell them.
