RichieTrott2020So I wanted to buy a new set of pole and I called a place up seeing what are the best poles that they have. The answer I got was that no park skiers use pole. I think that it all depends on who you are I've see people use pole one day and no poles the other. I've seen people only use poles I've seen people having no poles. What do you think poles or no poles ?
kim_jong_illUnless you have control of your arms PLEASE use poles. You look like a fool with your arms swinging like a mad man
MalcolmJust make sure you have big ass mittens when you go no poles
itsJacobIf ur using poles, make sure they are really short to reduce swing weight, make sure the poles are short enough so you dont have to bend our arms
CadenmcculloughIf you have poles that don't even touch the ground when your arms are straight then what's the point of using them.
itsJacobno I meant you barley even have to bend your arms im saying your pole height should be about up to your middle thigh, thats the size of my poles
JakeBarrettMid thigh is pretty damn short. I'd say waist or even belly button

nilzletThere is no "should" or "shouldnt".
I think the logic behind the "shouldnt" is that if you fall you can potentially compound your injury if the pole is in the way. But I really only see an issue with poles causing this is if you 1.) Literally dont know how to ski, and
2.) Are attempting a really large feature.
So as long as that's not you, you are free to choose.
