Galaxy S6 Charge Port Donezo HAlp

Apparently it's a pain in the balls to repair.

Anyone have any tips or a particular love for fixing these stupid things?

Was quoted 250. Would just buy a new down graded phone at that point. Might still be covered under insurance but that information is in NY, I am in CO.

Don't think I paid over 500 for the phone. Trying to figure out a gameplan. Also stoke you can't pull the batteries out so I can't even charge it in another phone just to get by for now.

Galaxy S6 is wireless-charger compatible. Spend 50 bucks to get a wireless charger instead of 250 to fix the port. It doesn't charge as fast but it will get the job done.

might do that. I like the ability to charge the normal way because i run the charge packs when traveling but this could be a good temp sollution.

you can usually get a battery from the same place as the charging port. (batteries + bulbs). You'll never have to have your phone plugged in again. when the battery is charged you can put it in your wallet if you're not gonna be home for a while. Just make sure and keep up on the rotation because having 2 dead batteries is fucky.

Yeah except you can't take the battery out. Well you can but it's a pretty involved process.

Ahhhhh yes. I used this method when I had the note 4. Now I understand the issue. I would go for the wireless charger then I guess. Seems like the only option.

Yea i would go the wireless charge way and to solve the on the go issue just use some rubber bands to attach the phone tonthe charger.
