Hey guys, first post. I'll just quickly summarize my snow life. I've snowboarded for 10 years in all areas, park, carving and ripping anywhere. I'm 16, 125lbs, 5'10" boot size 28.5.For the last year I've worked at a resort instructing snowboarding and other areas around. I just recently picked up skis (I get free rentals) last weekend on my breaks and accumulated around 2 hours and it's feeling pretty good. I've got sliding turns on pretty steep terrain fairly quickly in that time and I'm really hoping to commit to skiing next season. I'll buy gear at the end of the season while I can get it cheap.
The main question I've been questioning guys around the park and other people I work with what a good budgeted setup for a quickly progressing beginner and wanting to be park rat.
The main suggestions have been really premium and overly expensive (16 and saving for a car, instructing isn't very profitable). I've been looking at the k2 press for skis and bindings being the marker griffons, they seem decent quality and pretty worth it for the money.
Just want some suggestions and thoughts on what you guys like and how I should distribute my money. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Budget Build For Beginner
I personally look on second hand sites and review anything cheap as I'm on a pretty strict budget as well. This season skied some thrashed 09 volkl walls that I picked up off trade me for $46. Very used condition and older but really good reviews and very cheap. Worked for me. One day I'll get new skis...
Found a pair of Ninthward Edollos for around $100 and matched them with a pair of fks's that I got from a friend who doesn't need them for $60. Just look around and also https://www.levelninesports.com/
Honestly, I see so many kids get put on K2 Press for a beginner setup and they just get thrashed. I don't have experience with them, but from what I've seen Id say maybe avoid them. From what Ive seen Volkl Walls aren't a bad route, and can be progressed on a lot, or id look somewhere like a 4frnt Switchblade or even the Atomic Infamous/Punx. A lot of these skis can be rode by advanced riders but don't be afraid of picking these up, sounds like you're progressing fast and a lot of beginner skis get thrashed quickly.
Craigslist is by far your best bet.
I've noticed a lot of people bashing the Atomic Infamous mostly about durability. Another thing people are saying is the Armada arv 86 are a pretty good step up for about $75CAD more. Would it be worth it to step up for something expensive like this or is it probably just best to buy cheaper and upgrade over time?
Actually I just found a pair of what seem to be pretty good skis to just mess around on for next year and progress. Line Travelling Circus 2015 with look pivots for $215CAD. I'd honestly like to hear some opinions. It seems pretty good to just get further into skiing. Coming in at 164cm which should be decent as I ride about a 155cm board.

I got some walls before last season as my first pair because I wanted to get into park. They're really nice and easy to ski and I can see myself getting a lot of life out of them. I've already progressed quite a bit and I don't think I'm gonna need a new park ski for a long time
I just did this same type of setup for my brother, he is teaching and it is more versatile for him to be able to teach skiers or boarders, I actually got him a full set up, K2 domains with some Salomon bindings from like 2012. The edges were super rusty but I did a little DIY edge and wax and they are looking good, he likes them. I think I paid 100 bucks or so. Not bad.
