I'm used to true center mounted skis for park. I mounted my Line Blends -2cm from center and I'm just not feeling it. Most threads said -2 won't make a difference. I'm not sure if it's the weight of the wider skis or the -2 back from center is throwing me off.
Any advice?
I pretty much only ride park and wouldn't be worried about the center mount on the few pow days I get in a season.

-2cm from center and just doesn't feel right
learn to turn properly and it will feel better than centre mount.
It's not that the mount is bad, it's that you can't ski, and the mount proves it.
Not liking these answers so far. I skied fine in them today - carving, in the glades etc. I can't swing em around as easily as I can on my park skis.

Probably cause your park skis are center mounted and lighter. That would be the reason they swing around effortlessly. -2 is barely nothing, I would say they feel off because they are bigger and have a different profile.

I spoke to the pros and they all center mount their Blends.
I had them center mounted and rode them today, and it was fuckin incredible! We had soft snow today and normally on my park skis, I would have to take it easy with speed over crud, but not with these skis! I was able to go fast, carve turns, float over everything and still spin off the jumps and features!
I am so happy I did it!!!

I had my old blends mounted 2cm forward of true center and it was perfect.
For me the center mount relationship to ski ability is all in my head. Anything behind center just looks goofy on a twin tip ski and it messes with me.

No, I re-mounted on the center line. When you measure the ski, the center line happens to be the actual center of the ski.

The middle of the ski would only be center of the sidecut if it were symmetrical. Center of the sidecut would be different depending on the dimensions.
only benefit of center is swing-weight. Guarantee any ski mounted at the recommended line rips a better turn than at true center.
That's why I personally wouldn't ride a directional ski true center, but to each their own.
