Hi All,
Looking at picking up a pair of ski boots on the cheap. Salomon Quest 120.
Last on them is 100mm, I am around 104-105mm. How far can a boot fitter punch out a shell on the width?

Caucasian_AsianI'm skiing In a Tecnica Cochise 130. 98mm last. My foot measures 110mm+ before I put socks on.
Go fond a good boot fitter, and they can make it work.

japanadaNot a problem. The new QST120s have salomons custom shell anyways making stretches a breeze.
Mitch_7495i boot fit in a ski shop in western new york. It depends of the physical boot themselves. Salomon is one of the tough boots to pack out that much. Nordica for example uses infrared technology to blow out boots so its a bit ear to do it. Salmon uses a pretty tough plastic so going from a 100 last to a 105 last will be tough. The liner itself is easy to pack out but the Salomon shell is tougher. my not saying its impossible but that is a big amount of packing out to do.
