I agree. Idk if they are made any bigger tbh. If I hit the huge kickers then if they made 185s that's what I would go with no doubt, but rails are definitely more my speed. That's y I was thinkin the 181 so I could still have some length and stability for jumps but they would be short enough to get around on rails.

Have you seen the graphics for ski patrollers only. I think they have one in a 86 underfoot. Use pops and get a pair of those then all your buddies will give you shit for riding patrol skis.

I thought 206lbs of skier on line bends would have folded them in half. Go for the rossignols I guess.

Hey man I had a pair of the 2012 storms. Don't know how they've changed over the years. But I can say the 2012s were nutty durable. What skis stiffer than the blends have you skied and liked? I have a pair of 2017 tw (line claims are considerably stiffer than the blend) which feel like noodles compared to the 2012 storm, tho I'm sure the flex design on the storm has been changed at least. hope this helped

I had a pair of 2016 Storms. I'm 6', 190 lbs. Mine were 180 cm and felt shorter. I believe this is because the wood core only goes to the curve of the ski: the tips and tails are rubber. They are very fun in the park: light, responsive and extra flexible with good pop. They are so soft though, that at high speeds they flop around and fully flex out on groomers. They are pretty fun in bumps, but again they are a little too soft and don't quite have the rebound one might want. I found they skiied powder quite well for a full camber, center mounted ~90 mm waist ski. The big problem with them was durability. The bases are quite soft, receiving heavy core shots fairly early on, mid season in an incident where the ski didn't even come off. I noticed several edge cracks after about 10 days of skiing, without hitting rails every day. After 30 days, edge segments started falling out. After about 50 days, I noticed delamination occurring (sidewalls coming out, top sheet peeling off, bases peeling off where edges were rboken) and edges breaking at the joint where the wood core meets the rubber tips/tails. I noticed this problem on every other pair of storms I saw. Eventually, the tip of one ski and tail of the other snapped completely, at which point I stopped using them. I expect a pair of skis to last 300+ days in usable condition. As such I would not recommend these skis.
