Yes the protestors disagree with the current administration that very obviously goes against their interests. They protest en mass to rally support and show millions do not support the policies of the new administration. Public pressure is a very effective tool on effecting change.

You'll probably come to realize that each person was marching for a different reason. I had a long post typed up about it, but in reality I just don't think I have the right words to explain what's going on for our world so I'll just let someone else's words speak this time. As an 18 year old girl, I know it's horrifying to hear a man say to me the kind of things that Trump says about and to women. I feel so bad for his daughter. The things he says to her, just on camera, are disgusting and creepy.
