Thanks everyone for the helpful replies.
Pac2when exactly did you lose them? If it was at the end of the day chances are one of the staff members of the mountain may have grabbed them so no one would steal them. That happened to me. I was waiting for a friend to come give me a ride back home and i left my skis on the rack but when i went out to grab them they were gone. Turned out that the guy who monitored the cameras came and got them so no one would steal them because most skis are stolen towards the end of the day, at least thats what he said. idk if this helps your case bc hood is a big mountain but just thought id throw that out there.
Middle of the day, lunch time. Meadows staff said "99% of the time" people just mistook someone else's skis for theirs and that they eventually are returned to their owner. I told them fat chance -- these were brand new skis and looked it.
