I need toolbox recommendations!!

I'm looking for a toolbox, because I don't really have one, but I've got a lot of tools scattered all over the place. Lookin for something pretty compact, that I can carry around in my car and stuff. Probably around the 2ft in length 1ft high. To give you a really rough idea.
I want something pretty damn solid that's gonna last awhile, and good for being transported.
Thoughts??

Scope out your local Craigslist, you can find higher quality brands like craftsman and snap-on for way cheaper than new and those hold up for a very long time. Stay away from something you might find at Walmart or Costco, those go to shit pretty fast.

honestly you could go to any hardware store and find a decent little tool box for cheap. or as said above, people on craigslist might be selling some little ones and if you're lucky you can negotiate some tools in with the deal.

Husky has a life time warranty on their stuff and it can be found pretty cheap at any big box store.

It really depends on how many tools you have. Huskies are nice. Just go to Home Depot and browse the huge amount they have. Tool bags tend to be a pretty personal preference depending on what you are using them for and what you are carrying.

I bought one of these cheap at home Depot to keep my tools in my trunk



Overall I wouldn't recommend it. I wish I would have paid a little more for something nicer

If you have a truck just put a box in the bed.

Guessing you don't. You don't want a tool box in your car. It will rattle. It will get all messed up inside. Get a tool bag. Large one. And get separate smaller bags for stuff. You can keep large tools in the bottom alone while organize stuff like sockets, drivers, wrenches, etc...

Check out harbor freight online or if you have a store near you. Everything there is a lifetime warranty I believe. Craftsman has a lifetime warranty and so does husky. I wouldn't go with other brands unless its like snapon or mac or matco but are very expensive. No matter what things will rattle. I used a a tackle box/tool box that had a flip open top and a tray that would lift out. I just stuffed a few paper balls in that and nothing rattled even while sliding around in the winter
