I totally derp out when im doing switch 1s for some stupid reason but i can throw a 3. it doesnt make sense lol - i end up just going switch off the jump and not doing anything lmao zero spins i guess.
B.AussieMe too! Or do like half a rotation. I can never pop right when I take off switch. And I spin left and look over my right shoulder which doesn't help.
Ayyy I might be able to help.
So like skiing switch (correctly) your shoulders are pretty open already so that can make spinning 180 easy... but popping switch is definitely weird and for me I used to feel realllyyyyy unbalanced and would pre spin real bad.
I look over my right shoulder and spin right. When I start going up the jump, I close my shoulders/wind up kind of/throw my hands to the left. This puts you in a balanced position to pop and not die haha.
Side note: idk the "correct" way to take off switch. I know skiing switch your skis should be staggered but I pop with them not staggered and parallel. This might be the wrong way but it's how I do it lol
As you pop, throw your arms to the right(if u spin right) and open your shoulders back up and you will naturally spin back to forward. Your head is already looking at 180 so as long as you allow your shoulders to open back up it's really easy! The pop is really the hardest part.
