I'm curious at everyone's opinion is on the 2012 Icelandic Gypsy. I am currently skiing on the 102 Shreditors but was looking for a fatty for those deep days. Right now I could get a pair of used gypsy's with griffon bindings for $200. I am wondering opinions about the ski and how they compare to today's fat skis. Thanks for any help.
I love my gypsys haha. Their full rocker profile allows you to pivot super quick in the trees but their long turn radius gives you super nice turns everywhere else. They are super floaty and super fun for buttering and hucking jumps. I use them as my pre season, urban, and wet powder skis because the bases on mine are pretty rough from too many core shots. If I had to recommend pow skis to anybody, gypsys would definitely be near the top
