Anybody going to buy that shit? I wouldn't be surprised if it's not as good as skate but it's talked up as if it's similar. The park builder feature seems awesome.

Anyways, this game could be good. I like that it looks like you can play it somewhat realistically but can get ridiculous as well a la Skate 3 with the varying difficulties.

As mentioned in another comment above but like in ea skate games you can do crazy unrealistic stuff but you can also play the game realistically! Same goes for shredsauce, you can rip as many flips as possible or play it in a realistic manner (more fun imo

God I hate how Mark Mcmorris and EA sports or whoever designed the game had to throw in his name in the game title. Just call that shit Infinite Air. Thats like Malcom calling Shredsauce "Malcom slays pussy 420: Shredsauce" instead of Shredsauce. I also think its over priced ($49.99) but what game isn't like $100 nowadays. I think its a great looking concept of a game in terms of gameplay, but I more perceive it as a fuck around game that cant stand on its own as a $49.99 game. I think it should be a similar platform style as Shredsauce. End rant.

yet another snow game with rediculous looking parks. hard edges separating the jumps from the ground level, and no lips onto the rails. Not to mention shit is SSX sized/designed. I will admit the backcountry stuff looks pretty cool, only if you can play it realistically Skate style like some have claimed. Not stoked on the 200ft cliff double flip shown in the trailer

In december i know ubisoft is also dropping a skiing, snowboarding, and base jumping game called steep. looks pretty solid if your into the open world skate game style.

This game looks pretty wack. Played the "Steep" beta and that shit was actually like 7.5/10, potential to be amazing if they tweaked it and implemented jibbing. I'd not waste your money on infinity airtime and wait until Steep comes out, then make the call

I'd buy both.

If there's even a prayer that it's not horrible I'm down. Nobody has been making extreme sports video games the last 10 years really so if these aren't horrible I'd like to see them do alright and improve for a round 2 or show enough interest for other people to dive back into these games.

Yeah good call, support it all if you got the funds to do so. A lot of companies getting started making shred games right now, who knows which one could eventually develop a classic

I have the game and once you get used to the controls (very similar to skate) its a lot of fun! You can drop features anywhere on the mountains which so far is my favorite feature!

game companies make stuff bigger because it would be boring otherwise.

nobody wants to buy a game where you struggle to 360 on a 15ft jump, that's shitty. people want to do what pros do but gnarlier.

imagine skate with only rails/features/tricks that actual skaters can do. lame

imagine GTA with driving infractions and if you get busted you actually go to jail. lame. nobody wants that.

I bought this game a couple days ago and I have to say it's pretty sick! I have Snow and I got in the Steep beta, but this is the most fun out of all 3, probably because that the animations and rail mechanics ar so good. It definitely takes some time to get used to the controls, but once you get used to them, it's really guns and you can do some good looking tricks.

Park editor is no where near Skate 3 level. It feels clunky and the menu system for it is not very practical. You can tilt, rotate, raise, snap objects, but I don't think there's copy button though. Some decent parks are starting to be shared online though.

Obviously there's no skiing, but it's definitely fun to play, while we wait for snow to improve there animations and rail mechanics. I would recommend getting it if you like Skate 3, Shredsauce, Snow, etc.

It was fun, but I'm not paying full price for it. I played it for an hour and got a refund through steam.

Why not full price? It just didn't feel finished enough. The trick mechanics are cool, but they need to be refined. I shouldn't be able to land a quintuple misty ever, let alone on the first shot at any trick. The mountain map sucked too, and anyone who thinks crowdsourcing spawn points is a good idea has a stupid opinion.

If you folks have ever seen movie sized features in person, you'd know that jump wedge in the screenshot above is very realistic.

Which is fun about this game. You can throw a quad cork or a slow shifty 3. Its all how you want to play. Controls are a bit dodgy right now but I assume that will fixed with an update. They seemed to force this out before Steep. Not a bad purchase if you are looking something to waste time on right now.

I think you guys are missing my point, yes there are jumps from movie shoots that big, and yes its typical for video game designers to make shit huge for entertainments sake, but everything I've seen so far about this game is beyond that. Skate had a mega ramp and ridiculous stuff, but also had a lot of normal sized parks.features that IMO were equally as fun to skate realistically, since they pretty much nailed the physics/proportions in the game.

and the screenshots I posted were mostly to show how bad the graphics look. Look at the edge of where the jump and quarter pipes meet the snow, its a sudden sharp transition with a solid line seperating, no gradient to smooth that out. Same thing with the rails, and they even have other tracks crossing through them underneath like they don't exist, yet I don't see a track created by the actual player in the jump shot. MyTP on an iPhone looks better than that. Serious laziness on the developers part

Park editor is sick as fuck! You have lots of rail and you can sculpt snow to groom is or make it pow, and there's a grading feature to make landings lips or whatever terrain you want! Pretty easy to use as well would recommend buying for sure!

I must say it is tough to learn tricks but I've gotten the hang of it after a couple of hours to stomp realistic singles/dubs and some triples. The rail mechanics are on fucking point and feel really good. It is easy to create really sick rail lines and is very rewarding to stomp your lines on it. I've had as much fun playing this game as the skate games, but the park editor is definite my favorite feature. Hit me up if you want to know anything about the game! Cheers

That's cause that's a park kicker in the back country. Use a BC kicker and it looks much much better. If you're so mad about it don't buy the game. And if you want lips onto rails just build rails with lips, it's that simple.

Very strange assortment of features around that jump for the backcountry. But I'm not mad about it, and I won't buy the game since I don't have a xbone or ps4, but I do feel like these developers deserve a callout when the graphics/physics look wack. It looks like the same problem SNOW has

been playing for a few hours and honestly it's not as bad as i expected. you can go as small and realistic as you like or you can huck quintuple cork 2860's off 200 ft jumps. really whatever floats your boat. the level editor menu could use some polishing, right now it seems slow and disorganized but it's a brand new game so whatever.

Can confirm you can transfer side off rails to other rails. Not sure about train track style will attempt when I get a chance! Check out this guy named BobbysBay on YouTube the guy fucking shreds the game like no one else
